Regardless of whether a child plays the piano for a short time or for a lifetime, the long-term effects of lessons are many. In addition, the skills and knowledge they learn in piano may help them easily pick up another musical instrument later. Music provides a satisfying means of self-expression that lasts a lifetime.
All students perform in a recital in May. Family and friends are invited to attend, awards are given to each child. Punch and cookies are served at the reception afterwards.

Group lessons at schools are $65 per month, based on four 30-minute lessons. Months with five weeks are balanced against those with three weeks due to holidays.
Tuition is due on or before the first lesson of the month and covers the student’s enrollment for that month or any portion of that month. The non-refundable registration fee is due at or before the first lesson. A $10 late fee will be accessed if the monthly tuition payment is received after the 10th of the month.
Invoices are emailed monthly via Square, Zelle, or Venmo and may be paid online or by check.
We provide fun, creative group piano lessons to children ages four and older. Students attend weekly 15 to 30 minute classes tailored to their specific abilities. There are no more than three students per class, with students grouped according to age, ability and personality. Curriculum designed for early learners includes Music for Little Mozarts® and Bastien’s Primer A®, as well as activities designed to reinforce musical concepts. Progress reports are sent to parents monthly via email.
Students use a touch-sensitive electric keyboard in class that is provided by the instructor. Although no instrument at home is required to begin lessons, students progress quicker if they have a keyboard or piano to practice at home.
Private lessons are available, both in school and at home, and are recommended once a child shows sufficient skill and interest in the piano. All private students must have a piano at home. They should practice at least ten to fifteen minutes a day for the youngest ones and thirty minutes to up to an hour a day for the older students.
